Farms and our involvement:

Izabal Agroforest (San Felipe) – Financially invested in the 20,000 cacao tree agroforestry project with hardwood as shade trees. Our first dark milk chocolate bars were made from the first test batch of beans fermented there. Future work includes setting up a fermentary and importing the best cacao on site into the US.

Cacao Services – the best fermentation expertise in the world. We’ve been working closely with Daniel O’Doherty on many brand new projects and origins.

Madre Chocolate – an invaluable resource of chocolate knowledge! Dr. Nat Bletter has been a fantastic mentor and has encouraged us through the entire process.

Yellow Seed – a non-profit based in Northern California which aims to connect farmers to buyers. Currently advising on small-scale cacao importation and distribution.
