Back in 2014, David ventured to the Dominican Republic with Tom Forbes and the two scoured the country for the best cacao. One farm in particular stood out above all the rest - La Red Coop Guaconejo, otherwise known as La Red. David instantly fell in love with the project and made a deal to start importing cacao that same day. Unfortunately, La Red closed in 2016 and we had to stop production on what we considered some of the best chocolate we'd ever made. Well as it turns out, we had a tiny bit left after all these years and have reproduced one of our earliest batches as a 60% Dark Chocolate bar!
