To celebrate our 8 Year company anniversary, we've put together this set to celebrate our humble beginnings. Every one of these bars started out as an experimental batch when we were making chocolate out of our apartment, between 2014 and 2016.
One of our very first production bars, Maya Mountain Cacao has been our most consistent chocolate bar out of everything we make - definitely an oldie but a goodie! We love the mild red fruit and warm mocha finish.
Kokoa Kamlii Tanzania features a great balance of green banana and a tangy mocha finish.
Esmeraldas Ecuador won us our first Good Food Award in 2017, and has won at the Academy of Chocolate Awards for five years in a row, Gold for the last two! We love the floral and nutty notes of this chocolate. We were the first chocolate makers anywhere in the world to make chocolate from this farm.
And last but certainly not least, our signature bar and most popular ever, our Ucayali Private Reserve. Selecting three different ferments from over 90 different lots, we were able to secure this very special blend back in 2017, though we first made chocolate from the very first ferment in 2015. Our most-awarded bar of them all, with notes of caramel, mocha, with a cedar finish.
