It’s exciting to source cacao from the United States. Currently, the only real production is done in the state of Hawaii. We’ve made chocolate from Kauai, Oahu, and now the Big Island! John and Susan Bassett of Mauna Kea Cacao came by our factory one day and brought with them a small amount of their award-winning cacao beans. We took one look at this extraordinary cacao and knew we had something exciting on our hands. We hope you enjoy Hawaiian Chocolate as much as we do!
